Let's protect our future by providing recess and physical education classes to the children of today. Today's children are tomorrow's leaders and professionals, so let's help them to be successful in all aspects of their life. Give them the simple joys of recess, it will make a difference.
I am going to share a little video clip and song about what children have to say on the matter.

Wow. These kids are so wise! Teachers should really base their activities off what is important to kids. I love what that little girl said, "No child left behind? More like CHILDHOOD left behind!" Most of the memories and social learning comes from events at recess.
I loved the videos! They show that kids need to have recess in order to concentrate and do better in their classes. I know that I felt the same way when I was in their shoes. There was one child in the video that said that he just stares at the clock until the bell rings which by the way is not paying attention in class. Recess not only helps them physically but mentally as well.
I love the fact that kids realize that they actually need recess. Being a kid they actually have so much energy and they can't sit there all day and just learn. Being that young and so full of energy, the kids need to have a recess to use their energy and get good exercise. People today think that getting exercise is not good for you but when you don’t get exercise then you are going to get fat and lazy and your body is going to suffer some pretty bad consequences.
Your blog looks great and the information was presented clearly and easy to understand. Good job on speaking for the children.
Looks good!
This is great information! I believe that recess is important for children mentally and emotionally as well as physically. I also feel that teachers who incorporate more activity into the daily lessons, help their students better grasp the concepts and help them develop better attention spans.
This is a great blog :) it is important that children after able to have recess because gaining street smarts is as important as learning book smarts. Great blog!!
